The World of Angiosperms
Angiosperms appeared 100 million years ago. The development of structures protecting ovules has led to the diversity of colors and shapes of flowers, fruit and seeds. Flowers with attractive colors and shapes can enchantinsects, birds and mammals with fragrance and nectar to have them carry their pollen. Various seeds and fruit have the function of starting new lives in distant places by being eaten by animals, attaching, or simply by flying like gliders.
