Primates Living in Boundary Regions

Primates Living in Boundary Regions

Members of the Japanese macaque, a familiar animal to us, belong to Genus Macaca and are distributed widely in Asia. They have adapted themselves to various environments ranging from tropical to snowy forests in the north, and from riverside to mountainous forests. Their lifestyle is between that of monkeys living in a forest and those living on savannas.
