Dermoptera
Order Dermoptera has a similar bodily shape to that of flying squirrels; they have front and rear limbs as well as membranes between their legs and tail. They are able to glide from upper to lower area by spreading the flaps. Their teeth and body are characterized as being in between moles and bats. They are considered to have derived from ancestors close to Insectivora.
Currently, there are only two species of flying lemur of Order Dermoptera in Southeast Asia.
