The Special Breeding Methods of Marsupialia

The Special Breeding Methods of Marsupialia

The characteristic of the animals in the group known as Marsupialia is that females have pouches on their stomachs for raising their young. Newly born young enter the pouch while they are still very small, and mature while drinking milk. This group presently lives in places such as Australia, New Guinea and the Americas, but marsupial fossils have also been found in Asia, so it is possible that they were formerly spread worldwide.
