Scandentia

Scandentia

The Scandentia group is a small mammal similar to squirrels that live on land or in trees. They are slender animals covered with fur and with long tails. Their fingers and toes have claws. Because their big toes face outward apart from the other toes, the Scandentia order was once regarded as Order pmades or Order Insectivore. Currently they are classified as Order Scandentia.
This group lives in the tropical rainforests of South and Southeast Asia.
